Meet Our Amazing Staff at Palmyra Christian Academy!
We have a highly-trained team of committed, experienced educators to guide and direct your student in both academics and character development. We love Christ and we love kids! It’s our privilege to be entrusted with your precious children.

Amanda Crumrine, administrator
Mrs. Crumrine is married to David and they have three children. As a family, they love camping, cats, and Cub Scouts. Mrs. Crumrine has a Master’s Degree in Education. Her past experience includes teaching in the Quincy Public School District, serving as the Adams County Health Educator, and serving as the Madison Park Church early childhood director. Mrs. Crumrine is a member of the 2026 CSI Christian Schools International Site Visit Evaluation team for school accreditation.

Mrs. Wittler, 4/5 year old preschool teacher
Mrs. Wittler lives in Quincy, IL. She has her bachelor’s degree in elementary education. Mrs. Wittler loves the preschool age group of children and her classroom features many hands-on learning centers.

Mrs. brosi, 3 year old preschool teacher
Mrs. Brosi has experience working with early childhood children at her church and in the community. Mrs. Brosi brings her artistic nature and enthusiasm for life into the classroom, inspiring our youngest students to grow and develop with a curiosity for life. She also helps with before and after school childcare, teaches music, and helps in the kitchen.

Mrs. Church lives in Liberty, IL. She is married to Dennis, has two sons and two grandsons! She also raises chickens. With over 30 years of experience teaching experience, we are excited to have Mrs. Church on our teaching team.

Mrs walker, 2nd grade teacher
Mrs. Walker has a nurturing spirit and brings a joy for learning to her classroom, along with a heart for missions. Mrs. Walker also shares her passion for art with her students and drives the daily shuttle bus to Hannibal.

Mrs. Smith, 1st grade teacher
Mrs. Smith earned her undergraduate degree at Pensacola Christian College, the headquarters for the Abeka Curriculum! Mrs. Smith brings organization and structure to her 1st grade classroom. Mrs. Smith and her husband have 6 children and live in Lewistown, MO.
Miss connelly, director of fine arts
Miss Connelly has been named the director of fine arts at PCA, after being a classroom teacher in 3rd and 4th grade. Miss Connelly has performed in a multitude of local plays and musicals. She teaches a full schedule of private vocal and piano students, in addition to teaching all music and drama classes at PCA.
Beth Massey, High School Academic Coordinator
Mrs. Massey is married to her husband Josh, and they have two kids, Klementine and Joshua, whom are both enrolled at PCA. They also have a wise golden retriever named Posey and a cat named Buzz Lightyear. The Masseys attend Calvary Baptist Church in Hannibal. They love to travel as a family and plan vacations several years in advance. Prior to getting married, Mrs. Massey worked at Hannibal-LaGrange University as the Registrar and worked extensively with the online and distance learning programs as well as many other higher education responsibilities. Mrs. Massey has a Master’s degree in Business Administration.

Mrs.krista Townsend, 3 year old preschool classroom aide and tutor
Mrs. Townsend and her husband John have been married for 14 years. They live in Hannibal, MO, with their three boys Henry, Carter, and Micah. Mrs. Townsend has also been an active volunteer leader in the local MOPs (Mothers of Preschoolers) group and a volunteer with Operation Christmas Child for many years.

Mrs. Danica Porter, Cafeteria Supervisor and after school childcare coordinator
Mrs. Porter and her husband Jordan have three children: Hadlea, Haydan, and Holden. Mrs. Porter coordinates all the kitchen operations, as well as our after school program.

Miss Emily Hill, Before School PRogram supervisor
Miss Hill is currently a graduate student at Hannibal LaGrange University in Hannibal, MO. As the before school program supervisor, Miss Hill is the first face that many students see when they arrive at school for the day, which is a very important role. Miss Hill also is a substitute teacher and does a great job at jumping in wherever she is needed.
