We welcome students from any school district!
Our Mission:
Raising Up The Next Generation Of Christian Leaders With A Solid Spiritual And Academic Foundation
First-Rate Curriculum
Palmyra Christian Academy is proud to utilize the Abeka curriculum. It is solid both academically and Biblically. Abeka uses phonics-based instruction for reading. Our math curriculum is traditional math, not common core.
Abeka also includes character development, Biblical lessons and concepts throughout the curriculum. Handwriting is explicitly taught, including both manuscript and cursive. We encourage parents to visit Abeka.com to learn more.
Smaller Class Sizes
We know that God has created each child to be unique. Children have different learning styles, and our smaller class sizes enable teachers to spend more one-on-one time with each student so that they receive the help they need. Smaller class sizes also play a role in effective discipline management and an orderly environment.
Parent Involvement
We believe that parents have the right and responsibility to be active partners in their children’s education. Our goal is to invite parents to be as involved as they want to be, whether that means volunteering in the classroom, dropping in for lunch with their child, donating items from our Amazon wishlist, or sending supplies for holiday parties. We want to partner with parents so that our combined efforts provide our students with the best education possible.
Transparency & Independence
Palmyra Christian Academy is open and transparent with families, making sure that families know what is being taught. We also do not accept any government funding so that we can be completely independent and able to make decisions that we feel are in the best interest of our students. Since we are not affiliated with any church, denomination, or organization, we want to partner with many local churches, organizations, and families so that this is truly a school for the community.
